Just drawing to a close at Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre is a unique representation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Adapted by Giuseppe Verdi and presented by the Edinburgh Grand Opera, this exciting new approach to a classic play has been garnering great reviews throughout the city.
However, this September sees Macbeth return to Edinburgh once again, but this time staying true to the original. Again performed in the classic Lyceum Theatre just off Lothian Road and Meadows, theatre enthusiasts and city break visitors alike can enjoy this powerful and gripping classic come late-summer.
Just around the corner from the Lyceum is the city’s popular (and impressive) Quartermile; a stylish and contemporary complex standing where Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary once thrived. Full of history yet modern and convenient, why not book a theatre weekend in one of our very own Quartermile apartments?
